DARO Floor Systems Inc. was established in 2015, is a privately owned and operated company formed out of 30 years of experience and the corporate alliances of different experiences in the construction industry from Germany and Europe. Today DARO operates in several countries through:

DARO has undertaken and/or supplied projects and floor leveling jobs, almost worldwide with a focus in North America and Europe, in the screed/topping, tiling, glass mosaic, and natural stone trades.

Already in early 2006, during the developmental stages of business relations in the Canadian construction industry with the incorporation of DARO Flooring Constructions Inc., it was determined that special, recycled or cementitious toppings / screed, delivered as a Ready-Mix in concrete trucks, which has been a standard in Europe for more than 35 years, are not available in the North American Market.

Once contemplated why such technologies shouldn't be introduced to such an industrialized and booming countries, we then got together with the two worldwide, single manufacturers of the special binding agent in Europe, and entered into a contract for its export rights to North America.

In 2016 DARO has established binder production and row material purchases in Europe. DARO’s truck solution complies 100% with OSHA's silica dust regulations since DAROTopp® is delivered as ready-mix and just in time to projects in regular concrete trucks though concrete ready-mix companies.

After a brief period of product and system presentations of the Ready-Mix DAROTopp® it was clear that such special type of screed / topping could have a substantial potential in the North American construction industry, resulting in our expansion into Canada.

DAROTopp® is being used in various applications and is readily recommended by Spec Writers, Architects and General Contractors. With more than 10,000,000 sq ft already installed in Canada and some States in the US, the number keeps growing!

DAROTopp® products are used in commercial, institutional or residential sectors include new construction and renovations on all substrates - concrete or pre-cast, wood, ceramic tiles, metal floor deck, polystyrene insulation or moisture barriers.

Since the construction industry differs from Germany we, together with our DAROTopp® Research & Development Center in Germany, had to develop a cementitious featheredge topping also delivered as ready-mix just in time. After 2 years of development we successfully introduced DAROTopp® XS to the industry together with our in-house DAROStar™ pump technology.

In 2021 we introduced through our affiliate DARO Trading GCC our WPC Decking and Wall Systems to the construction industry in the UAE as well as started to supply DAROTopp® self leveling underlayments in 25kg bags for smaller applications.

All of our WPC series of products have been authorized by ISO9001 quality test system. Since its presence in the market, our WPC products have gained a great reputation among our customers due to our quality monitoring system and commitment to on-time supplies at highest quality levels with long-term performance guarantees.
